Our Golf Course Review
★★★★★

December 2013 - Beautiful gets thrown around a lot when you are in Arizona, but there is something that is just stunning about Dove Mountain in Marana. Whether you are visiting Phoenix or Tucson, it is worth spending the day there. Dove Mountain has three nine hole courses and plays host to the Accenture Match Play Championship. It's hard to take it all in at times, everywhere you look is an opportunity for a picture! When you are able to focus on the golf hole you're on, you can't help but flash to memories of watching the pros walk up and down the same fairways you are, or what shots they hit. They were even building the scaffolding for the stands while we were there. It is truly a special stage for a great event and a course that every serious golfer needs to scratch off their bucket list at some point. As you would imagine, it is a very difficult course but something worth trying.

We can't wait to watch the next Accenture Match Play on TV and compare what we did on each of the holes. But don't let the difficulty scare you aware! The elevation changes, wildlife, perfectly manicured layout all let you appreciate the beauty of this course no matter how your scorecard may read. There is no such thing as a bad day at Dove Mountain!
